China Game Developers Conference 2010, which was held from July 30th to Aug 1st, 2010 at Shanghai International Convention Center, had closed successfully. CGDC 2010 has attracted greater attention and participation from game companies both at home and abroad. 87 well-known speakers from different parts of the world gave 84 excellent speeches, providing a truly successful event to about 4000 game developers across the world. The audiences are so enthusiastic to buy tickets and maintain good interaction with the speakers, some of the venues were so crowded with people that there was hardly any standing room left.
Shaofang Li, Chief Representative China of Gameforge 4D GmbH:
It is the first time for us to take part in CGDC’s comprehensive business event. Gameforge has benefited a lot from this by setting up close ties with tens of R&D companies in China, some of which also expect a long-term partnership with Gameforge. Since the end of the event is upon us, on behalf ot the 420 members of Gameforge, I would like to extend my special and sincere gratitude to the Howell team for the great job they have done!
Wilkes: Game companies in China are always very delighted to co-operate with their overseas counterparts, so we have had very pleasant communications with each other, which I believe will bring big business opportunities. (With Wilkes taking the lead, some 30 enterprises related with "Victorian Government ICT trade mission to Shanghai" has taken part in CGDC 2010 or relevant activities)
Game professional Xia Taiyi: I attended CGDC 2009 in order to worship whoever lives up to my expectation as master-hand. When it comes to CGDC 2010, I am seeking to have more understanding of this industry to which I may devote myself for the rest of my life from a different point of view.
